I know 10k means 10 karats of gold. I have a ring that is gold with three rocks at the top that could be diamonds. But my question is could AM-G be some kind of abreviation for diamonds?
american gemologists. the ring has been inspected, and most likely certified.
VERY SIMPLE............GO TO A LOCAL JEWELRY SHOP IN YOUR TOWN, AND HAVE IT CHECKED. THERE IS A FEE FOR THIS TYPE OF SERVICE. YOU CAN EITHER HAVE A LASER CHECK ON IT OR BY A PROFESSIONAL JEWELER.
THERE ARE SO MANY WHITE STONES OUT THERE THAT ARE MADE TO LOOK LIKE DIAMONDS, BUT HERE A HINT......IF YOU BOUGHT IT AT A LOCAL STORE FOR LESS THAN A HUNDRED DOLLARS. THEN THE DIAMONDS ARE NOT REAL. IF YOU FOUND IT SOMEWHERE AND ARE CURIOUS TO SEE IF IT IS REAL, THE ONLY WAY YOU WILL FIND OUT FOR SURE IS TO GO TO THE JEWELRY SHOP.
